THE WORK 4 A LIVING STORY
We launched our first training center in 2007, equipping people with skills to help them find jobs and start businesses. WE FAILED. People quit their jobs, didn’t stay committed, didn’t show up for work, or never even got started. It was a disaster. Then, we began learning about a Biblical Worldview through our church in South Africa. Watch the full story below.

THE LORD CHALLENGED US ON DISCIPLESHIP.
In response, we established small discipling communities around each W4AL Hub—to disciple new believers who give their hearts to Jesus every three weeks.
These groups become "The Church":
-
A new church community is created/planted to ‘catch and disciple’ the newborn believers.
-
An existing church community partners with the Hub to ‘catch and disciple’ the newborn believers.
-
A new church community made up of small small discipleship groups "D-groups" that use Discovery Bible Study (DBS) as a powerful discipleship tool.
Ultimately this creates a family of believers, that gather together regularly.
THE WORK 4 A LIVING MODEL
Our mission: People working & discipled!
We equip ordinary, missional individuals to establish income-generating skills centers, known as "W4AL Hubs." These Hubs transform lives by providing employment opportunities, teaching the truth of God's word, teaching excellence in the workplace and facilitating discipleship.

Each Hub starts as a business & ends as the church.

A W4AL Hub
An access ministry in the form of a training Hub that engages the community through economic opportunities and skills training.
A Hub:
-
Teaches a Biblical Worldview
-
Presents the Gospel
-
Helps people find employment through our jobs database and employment network
-
Provides an income for the facilitator/church planter
-
Fosters continuous discipleship
-
Gets people working and starting businesses

Every W4AL Hub is a potential church that pays for itself. People give their lives to Jesus during the W4AL programs (over 18 000 new believers so far). The church needs to be there to catch the newborn believers!

If in South Africa, 2 weeks in person at the end of the training, for accreditation
Join the PIT training!
2. Start the W4AL Hub
